Advocacy in Barnet offers a free, independent and confidential advocacy service to all people over the age of 18 living in the Borough of Barnet. We support YOU to ensure YOU have a voice and a choice with community and health services.
BARNET RESIDENTS Advocacy in Barnet works to ensure that you as a service user are supported appropriately to enable you to participate in decisions that affect your life, giving you choice and control over your own life.
BARNET PROFESSIONALS Advocacy In Barnet accepts referrals from professionals on behalf of Barnet residents. We will confirm with the service user that they want us to work with them before taking the referral further.
Advocates provide information, support and representation to Barnet residents who use community and/or health services in order that you can be empowered to be involved in the decisions that affect you.
Advocacy in Barnet is a free service that is wholly independent from service providers.

ADVANCE - A voice for older people through Advocacy
ADVANCE aims to transform the way in which older people in the community are able to direct issues that concern them and their care, with an overall aim of improving standards of care significantly above minimum standards and ensuring these are maintained'.
